received his Bachelor of Business Administration, cum laude, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi. Upon graduation from law school,

clerked at the Mississippi Supreme Court for Justice James L. Roberts, Jr. After several years in private practice, Chad joined Southern Farm Bureau in 2002, where he provides legal counsel regarding the company’s investments, associated litigation, government relations, and other corporate matters. Chad is a public speaker in the areas of leadership training, business consulting, public speaking, and government relations.

Chad

is very active in the Mississippi Bar having served on and chaired numerous committees. He is a former board member and President of the Young Lawyers Division of the Mississippi Bar (YLD). Chad recently concluded his terms on the Board of Bar Commissioners, the Executive Committee, and 2^nd Vice President of the Mississippi Bar. Chad is also past president of the Mississippi Corporate Counsel Association.
