Michelle Dugan is a Mortgage Loan Originator by day and a social media guru by night. Born and raised in Madison, Mississippi, Michelle grew up in a tech-savvy family that believed in teaching the use of technology from an early age. As an early teen, she built her first computer from a box of parts, logged on to the internet, and has been plugged in ever since. Michelle is an honors graduate of Mississippi College. In 2001, Michelle began working as a real estate paralegal, eventually transitioning from paralegal to mortgage loan originator. In October of 2015, Michelle was named as one of three finalist in the category of Best Mortgage Broker in the Clarion-Ledger Newspaper’s Best of the Best People’s Choice Awards.
Being a self-driven individual from an early age, Michelle has always had an interest in outside-of-the-box marketing. Michelle makes it a priority to stay on top of current and upcoming marketing trends. In this growing digital age, Michelle has invested in several business mentors and social media advisors to make sure that she is up to date with the latest and greatest in social media marketing. In addition to marketing her own mortgage business, she currently teaches and advises many real estate professionals on growing their business through the use of social media. Michelle also helps administer a group of over 300 loan officers located across the United States with the ultimate goal of utilizing social media in order to better connect with their referral partners as well as past, present, and future customers.
